Easter & a boat ride

Rewind to last year's attempt to celebrate Easter...

pathetic, right?

So this year things were much better even though he's still quite young. The rundown? He understood that he had to look for eggs and put them in a basket. I colored the eggs by myself (well he did drop them into the dye "crack"). There are a million plastic eggs in the house now and many toys. He had a little chocolate and half of a "peep". "Peeps" were my favorite Easter candy. So, when my Mom included them in Robin's Easter package, I knew it would be me to eat the rest of them. But wait, did they change the marshmallow recipe? I don't know what happened, but they just didn't taste the same, not sweet enough I guess. Here's a glimpse of this past week or so...

Crafting his own "basket" to get ready for the egg hunt at Birdie's play area.
Hunting for eggs on the mini golf course.
Robin & Leo snacking after all that hard work. He grabbed a banana and then dropped it when he saw the goldfish. Oh well.
Eleisha, Paul & Leo invited us out on their boat Saturday...fun fun!
Robin & Joe driving the boat.

Another Easter package. Thanks, Grammy!"Cheese"
How to share a smoothie so Robin doesn't hog it all? Two straws!
Getting ready to go to Trey & Griffin's house for the hunt and brunch.

Go, Dollar Store!

I went to Target yesterday to get Robinson his Easter goodies. I must have waited too long since all they had for baskets were these plush $10 ones, and picked through toy bins. How I left there still spending $38 is beyond me (well it was until I checked the receipt and realized it was because of Thomas! Man those miniscule trains are pricey). Anyway, today when I was at H&R Block, I noticed a Dollar General right next door. Not only did they have the classic Easter basket and plenty of plastic eggs, they had this chick which obviously was a big hit.

Thank you, Abuela & Big Papa!

Not sure if it was for Easter, but he wanted to open it right away anyway...
"Ya, I know you're taking my picture."

If you zoom in, you can see the purple crayon in his mouth.

Bed Head

Even with this little hair, it is still possible to have bed head.
Ahh, binky safely back in mouth. 3rd molar on its way in...cranky Robin today. That makes 11 teeth for this 15 month old.

Red Sox hat

Well, the stomach virus hit us hard the past few days. Robin & I on Saturday night and Joe last night. So, while it was in the 70's today and our friends were playing at the park...we were not. So, just to get out, Robin and I checked the mail and took out the trash. How fun! When I put Joe's hat on him, I just had to get out the camera.
Cream cheese, anyone?
Waving hi and shifting at the same time
