What's going on...

Saturday we went to Chesapeake's "Jubilee"...I guess a fancy word for Carnival. We had a great time. We walked around,

and walked around,

and rode some rides,

and ate with friends.

We had a girls night out last week for my friend Eleisha who is moving away. Here is just photographic evidence that I do get out without my boys...even if it's a rare occurrence. Here is Eleisha, Leaf and myself.

My friend Jenoa.

Attempt at photographing a curl
Last year's trip to the zoo was merely a Mommy play date, but this time, I was curious to see if Robin was interested in the animals. He did give each animal he saw a kiss, but this is what interested him most...
stomping on the lights in the ground,
finding leaves (and rocks and sticks) and bringing them to me,
and playing in the water. Duh, Mom.

Yay, my husband is home! Sunday we went to the Spray Park Pool at the Y. Here are the boys driving another boat.

Visit from Grammy and Aunties Lisa & Becky

We were blessed with a quick visit from my Mom and my aunts last weekend. Thanks for coming, girls! Thanks for the company, the food, the clothes, toys and all the little things that helped me out.

Robin's aunties spoiled him with lots of attention. Here he is with Auntie Lisa in the sink.blowing bubbles with Auntie Becky

At first I thought Robin looked like Joe here, then I thought to myself, "wait, is that MY angry face?"

Here they are and that's my mom holding Robin.

He LOVES his little pool and everything that has to do with water.
It was so nice to have my family here, even if it was only for a day and a half.

First time in the ocean...it was a little chilly. He didn't take to the water so much
but he did love the buckets of sand & water

Hi Joe

Joe is away for a few weeks and we are heading to Florida on Wednesday. So, this will be my last blog for a little bit. Because of our trip, I've been fiddling with the ipod I got for Christmas. Robin likes it too. He holds the earphones to his ears to hear the Wiggles music. But even cuter and made me tear up was when he was scrolling through the photos (how I don't know) and he saw a pic of him & Joe. He said, "Dada", kissed the ipod and then held it to his chest. Joe, we miss you and love you and here are a bunch of pics if you need a pick-me-up...

Big Papa's visit

Couldn't resist posting this picture
R is kicking a ball with the best of 'em. Even though he seems so big sometimes, he looks so tiny next to Joe...and Joe's not huge either.
It's a little known fact that my son likes to eat lemons...

We tried to go to the zoo this day. I was bummed when the line was way too long. So we detoured to the "old school" playground next door...note the metal slide. On this day Robinson also got on Big Papa's good side when he looked straight at him, pointed, and said clear as a bell, "Papa!"
Big Papa trying to surf the net while Robin kept turning the computer on and off.

Robin & Big Papa were old pals by the time he left...and Robin did cry when Papa was leaving. Thanks for coming to visit, Big Papa. We had so much fun. Thanks, too, for the Red Sox gear and toys!
