Quick jaunt to Boston

Hi everyone. Robinson & I had our first plane travel together. It wasn't that bad, just a little bit of a hassle. We did get to visit with family though. Sorry about not visiting anyone else while we were there. It was a three day trip, and kind of a trial run. We'll see you next time we come up.
Watching the planes while we wait to get on our first plane ride.
I LOVED hanging out with my cousin.
A trip to New England is complete when we have played in the leaves.
Just sitting with my buddy, Bodhi.
Lucky for us, there are parks just about everywhere.
Big Papi's grand catch.
Playing transformers with Abuela before leaving.
The gate at Logan did have a great play area that R. did not want to leave.
We've landed back home.

It's not ALL about sleep deprivation

Incredible amounts of toe lint...trying to save my chin from the laughing, drooling, biter...diving head first into couch pillows...

Yes, many things have changed since becoming a mother. One of the best changes is laughing every single day.

So, week 2 with Joe being at school. We're keeping busy with stroller class, and especially walking the neighborhood on the lookout for doggies. Robin gets so excited that he stands up in his stroller, pumps his arms, and screams. It's a riot. We also bought our first pair of Robeez today...ouch. $28 for BABY shoes!
This is how we both feel when Joe is home...

We went to the library for story time last week. Robin doesn't look amused...his camera love is dying now that he knows the flash is going to bother him. However, he did love the giant stuffed Clifford. I wanted to get a photo, but he didn't like it enough to sit next to it without me. Oh well.
Wearing Daddy's hat...go Sox!

Fun at the park

In addition to having fun at the park, we have great news. Joe has been selected to make LCDR next summer (that means a promotion). Congrats, hubby, I never had a doubt anyway. Also Congrats to all you other Coasties out there who read this. Robin is getting his eighth tooth and starting to cruise the furniture. He climbed his first stairs today. Go, go, go I guess.

Presents and food...sounds good to me.

We came home from a walk last week and there were two huge boxes on our doorstep. Cousin Bodhi sent us presents, for no special reason. Well, he thinks R is ready for bigger boy toys, and he was right.
Robinson liked the boxes and packing material...of course
so did the cat

Ya, ya, I know, don't give your baby sugar until he's one. Like that's easy, have you read the ingredients in baby food? puffy things? Anyway, Robin gets a taste of icecream. Sorry about the video quality.

Getting very good at self-feeding...not just what's in the cup..whatever he finds on the floor too.

I got a hair cut :)
Okay, so we've spent tons of time outside...walking, stroller class, the pool...but we never just sat in the grass before. Judging by his reaction, the scratchy grass was a little unfamiliar.

We got to meet baby Griffin last night...and lucky me got to hold him. Wow, 6 day old babies are amazing. It was breathtaking and scary at the same time. I can't believe I changed and dressed a baby that small before. Robinson and Trey played (sat next to each other) really well together.

Trey let us borrow his pull-up wall before baby Griffin needs it. It's been in the house less than 24 hours, and he LOVES it!
