I hope everyone is having a great 2008! I made too many resolutions, but I'm not feeling guilty when I can't get to some of them. Here are a few images from the last month. I promise to get a video of the little guy walking, or running, or dancing to the Wiggles.
Swimming at the hotel
Eating strawberries with Abuela
Laughing with Aunt Betty
Joe & Robin waiting for breakfast at Billerica's infamous "Belly Buster" diner.
Robin & Bodhi (aka Robo & Bobo) wait patiently for Christmas morning toys.

The new Boys Club is now a rocket ship.

Blog readers, we're back!

So, our Mac died last month, right before we were leaving for Massachusetts. The geniuses at the Genius Bar could not fix it. So, the nice people at the Apple Store have replaced our dead one with a brand new iMac. Yeah! Complete with all our old data and everything. We just picked it up tonight. So, even though we've been living without web access, I am still a happy girl. I will post more info and pics in the next day or two. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. :)

A cake break
Second change of outfit...from the cake
Presents kept arriving...

Happy Birthday, my little boy

So, the pictures I will post later. The last day or two have got me thinking about Robinson's birth and the hours leading up to it and after it. I remember so much of it so vividly and so much of it...well I guess not so vividly. Water breaking at 5am...and it was no 1/2 cupful, L&M childbirth class! It was more like a couple gallons. Waiting, waiting, dealing, breathing, being medicated, pushing for hours, and being cut open at 2:30 the next morning to get Robinson into this world. And even though after there was the no eating solids until you know what, the bloating (I was unrecognizable-thanks for not saying so if you visited us in the hospital or shortly after), the pain from the incision, and other things, there was this little tiny beautiful baby. I can't believe a year has been lived by him already. Happy Birthday, Robin River. I love you.

no conehead comments...poor kid was being unsuccessfully jammed through a pelvis.

Yup, it's only a matter of time.

A week and a half ago, R took his first steps. Since then it has been about 5 or so steps until tonight. He walked about 4 feet from the ottoman to the couch a few times. I caught one time on video, and I apologize for the darkness. For some reason he only likes to practice his walking before bed.
This is just him talking about the cat outside...

A few things I did today

As most of you know, Robinson received the coolest gift before he was born...an alphabet book made by our friends and family. Well, whenever he gets to page "D" where there are tons of pictures of "D"addy, he lays his head down on the page. Yes, Joe you are obviously missed.

Today I also played in my house, which originally housed my new art desk that Aunt Jenn, Uncle Rish, and Bodhi got me for my birthday. Thanks, guys.
I pulled ornaments off the tree,
and took a bubble bath
